South East Renewables

The opportunity to quickly increase the amount of energy generated from renewable resources in the South East is huge because market development is starting from a very low base. There is also a substantial amount of new development taking place which could favour the integration of small-scale building-integrated renewable energy.

CEN can help develop and realise your organisation's renewable energy project, guiding you from initial consultation to installation step-by-step.

· Advisory and consultation services

  • energy audits and pre-investment feasibility work
  • advice, information, and presentations to the community, and to project stakeholders
  • assisting with grant applications to fund the above (not for profit organisations only)

· Installation and management

  • assuring installation within specified timescales and with minimum hassle and expense.
  • assisting with grant and planning applications.
  • providing access to high quality and discounted equipment and a trusted network of installers

· Publicity and dissemination

  • maximising publicity opportunities
  • working closely with organisations to increase awareness of sustainable energy

Funding for Community Organisations

Funding is often the biggest barrier facing community groups that are keen to improve their environmental sustainability.

CEN can help you overcome this, by providing support with grant applications to fund a feasibility study as well as the purchase and installation of renewable technologies themselves.  Your organisation may be eligible to apply for up to 100% of the costs of your project.

CEN is a registered renewable energy consultancy under the National Lottery's Community Sustainable Energy Programme (CSEP) .  Through this, CEN is able to offer 75% funded renewable energy studies to community groups (including schools) in the South East, East of England and London .
