Energysmart is CEN’s main delivery mechanism for domestic energy efficiency measures. The scheme’s main aim is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions through domestic energy efficiency savings.

By referring to Energy Suppliers baised on the best current offerings, as well as large discounts on condensing boilers and solar hot water systems through special arrangements with installers, suppliers, and merchants, we are able to offer best value installations to householders, and bulk purchase discounts to small and medium sized heating installers.

The scheme works with Local Authority partners to promote discounted domestic energy saving measures to residents. The scheme funds its own administration through a not-for-profit model based on an installer lead fee, so there are no scheme management fees for partners.
