Challenges
The reporting for this indicator requires the authority to conduct surveys with at least 400 households in receipt of means tested benefits and to estimate the SAP rating of their homes.
In addition to provision of monitoring, CEN can assist by evaluating the most cost effective ways of decreasing the proportion of properties with a SAP rating less than 35 and increasing the proportion with a rating over 65, strategically, and specifically by identifying properties that meet this criteria.
